Making the switch...
Karisse and Callie now have a blogspot where I'll be posting most of their "stuff." I'll still update my xanga with my "stuff..." whenever I get a moment...in other words, it might be awhile. You should check out their page:

YAY!!!
I can't believe that Sunday, my baby will be 2 years old. It's unbelievable how quickly time flies. And, in just 11 short weeks, Callie will be arriving as well. YIKES!!
So, my sister, who is also pregnant, is coming today from New Orleans. She should be here within the next hour!! YIPPEE!! Karisse is excited too.
She keeps saying, "Aunt Moe coming...Aunt Moe coming!" (I'm just as excited...but don't tell anybody!)

My Small Group is AWESOME!!
So, my small group friends are AWESOME. On Thursday, they threw Kristen and me a surprise double baby shower!!! Pink was everywhere and it was unbelievably cute (which shouldn't surprise me since Ronda & Crystal were in charge of the cuteness!)
Here, Kristen and I posing with our diaper "cakes" that Crystal made for Eliza & Callie. Are they precious??? And the REAL cake (the brown one with pink frosting dots) was super yummy!!!
Pink gifts everywhere...
Kristen got Karisse & Callie matching dresses! They will be the cutest kids ever...
Thanks so much friends!!! You're amazing and I thank God all of the time for putting you in our lives to help get us through craziness (like bringing another life into the world.) I love you all...

Dr. Appointments...
This is the week of the "appointment." It's been a crazy week...but we're halfway through it!! *whew*
Tomorrow is a follow up glucose tolerance test (the 3 hour one.) Which, translated, means that I sit in a tiny lab for 3+ hours after having one vial of blood drawn and drinking a super sweet, non-carbonated syrup. Then, every hour, they draw MORE blood to compare the effects of the sweet stuff on my glucose levels...thus the title "glucose tolerance." Toward the end of my pregnancy with Karrise, I was on the borderline of being diagnose with gestational diabetes because of my PCOS condition. Hopefully, I'll just be borderline again with Callie...if at all ! So, pray, pray, pray that the levels comes back normal! I'll be taking my "office" (aka laptop) with me, so I'll have plenty to keep myself busy since I've been out of the office a lot this week (I'm quite behind!) We should know the results by Tuesday at the latest. *fingers crossed*
Then, on Friday, we have our 6 month appointment and will hopefully get to schedule my c-section. I'm wanting August 1st (which is 13 days before my due date) and probably won't happen, since they usually like to keep it 7-10 days before your due date...but it makes so much sense. First of all, they induced me with Karrise one week early and she was a whopping 9 pounds, so if it's two weeks early this time, maybe we'll have a smaller baby (and I won't be quite as miserable.) It's a Friday, so my family and friends can visit on the weekend. I should be released from the hospital about the time Larry begins school. Even though he's taking a short leave to hang out with us, it might be helpful for him to attend the inservice to get his room ready and meet/greet the kids since the beginning of 1st grade is pretty crucial to how the remainder of the year goes! And probably the biggest reason is the shear fact that it's 2 weeks early (and 2 weeks further from the truly most yucky and sticky part of the whole summer.) That means there will be 2 fewer weeks of being pregnant, pissed, huge, hot, and miserable (especially if I have edema like I did with Karisse.)
Then, Friday afternoon, I have an eye doctor appointment to check my new prescription for my contacts! Man...this week has been a blur!
